Student Spotlight: Trilogy Camp
By: Ralph, 6th Grade
Welcome to Ralph’s action filled blog. I’m Ralph Nelson and I will tell you about my awesome trip to Trilogy Camp at Deerfield Academy.
First, I know you’re asking “what’s Trilogy Camp?” Well, Trilogy camp is a cool lacrosse camp that lasts a week and you can meet some really awesome kids and coaches. I enjoyed learning from both the players and coaches.
Next, I’m going to tell you about the best part of camp: the dorms. What made the dorms so special was that my room was the only room with 3 beds. I shared a room with my friends J.P. and Angel. My roommate, Angel, is a good friend who minds his own business and is a great teammate on and off the field. My other roommate, J.P., is a very athletic kid who loves lacrosse and he is very competitive.
During the day I had a packed schedule with practice, mini-games, scrimmage, and breaks.
The meals were awesome they served “eggcellent” food. My favorite meal was a buffalo chicken sandwich with hot sauce for dinner.
One thing that was cool was that one of the coaches was a good friend of Josh Hawkins. Josh is the host of Lacrosse Sports Network who I met last week. He is a nice guy who let me be live on camera.
Now last but not least I made a lot of other friends. One of those friends was Alex. Alex is a good friend and is also a strong player who never gives up.
Overall I had a great time and I will be going to Trilogy camp next year and hopefully I will see the same coaches. Thanks for reading my blog. I hope you enjoyed it.
