Sadie Mauro Memorial Fund

Sadie Mauro was a kind and loving young woman, and a caring teammate who loved the game of lacrosse. As put by her Mass Elite Directors Kara Connerty and Lisa Parsons, “Sadie arrived to every field with a smile. She brought out the best in all of her teammates and brought a positive energy wherever she went. Sadie’s unwavering support, her selflessness and dedication to uplifting others will continue to inspire her coaches and teammates, both on and off the field.”

To honor Sadie’s legacy, please consider a gift to Harlem Lacrosse, so that other kids may get to experience the joy and camaraderie of the game that she loved to so much. Harlem Lacrosse provides academic support, educational enrichment, and lacrosse programming to kids from low income, urban communities. The organization serves more than 1200 students each year from Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Los Angeles, and provides in school support during the school year, and extensive camp and overnight experiences during the summer months. Please consider a gift to honor Sadie, so that more kids may have that experience.
