Walton Lacrosse Girls take on SenderOne LAX

SenderOne is a local climbing gym that gave access to 15 girls from Walton Middle School's lacrosse program to be challenged mentally and physically be scaling walls up to 50ft high. During this experience, girls were partnered with a mentor belayer and guided through know tying and best safety practices. I was most impressed by each girls positive encouragement and support they provided to their teammates along with their ability to push themselves outside their comfort zone. There were A LOT of good vibes during this experience. The team experienced self growth, challenges, and the sense of belonging. Huge shout out to SenderOne and the community that stepped up to support Harlem Lacrosse. We have a new community of fans and we will be back!
