Harlem Lacrosse is proud to announce and celebrate the Class Of 2022

Fifty-five Harlem Lacrosse youth will walk high school graduation stages around the country!

Graduating from high school is no small accomplishment.

High school graduation is not only a right of passage. Each Harlem Lacrosse graduate has developed the power to face the world with a new sense of achievement and confidence, knowing that they can meet any new challenge.

In an age of information technology and a global economy, high school graduation is a minimum requirement for higher education and gainful employment.

$65 million in scholarships, athletics, programming and community support has been provided to see these youth across the line.

Our graduating class of seniors come from a variety of backgrounds and each have had their own unique journey to the finish line. Seeing them reach this milestone is both a joy and a touch of sadness for the Program Directors of Harlem Lacrosse.

At Harlem Lacrosse we know that a high school diploma is the bare minimum for even marginal employment. That means that for students who fail to graduate, their achievement gap quickly becomes an opportunity gap that will persist long after their classmates have walked the stage. In fact, it’s a gap they likely will struggle with for the rest of their adult lives.

Graduation from high school can mean the difference between an individual student's future success and a future marred by unemployment and poverty. Whether the viewpoint is broad or narrow, the significance of a high school diploma is evident.

Harlem Lacrosse wraps our students with 360° support in order to remove even the most substantial obstacles that stand in the way of a high school diploma.

Every day, Program Directors at Harlem Lacrosse go beyond the game of lacrosse. Helping students engage, create goals, explore post-secondary options, and find a path for turning dreams into reality.

At Harlem Lacrosse we believe education is the answer and have provided 65 million in scholarships and other direct student support to Harlem Lacrosse students since 2010.

We are proud to say that Harlem Lacrosse has created a space where excellence is the norm, the natural result of high expectations, a place where a child's dreams and voice are honored and uplifted. So please join as we honor this Rite of Passage, turn our figurative tassels to the side, and throw our caps in the air for our Harlem Lacrosse graduates. Our children deserve this and so much more.
