HL-Los Angeles Hosts Annual Compton Classic

In the heart of Compton, on sunny Saturday, February 3rd, the lacrosse community gathered for a day of spirited competition and camaraderie. Harlem Lacrosse - Los Angeles hosted its annual Compton Classic tournament, drawing 24 teams to the vibrant event.

Teams from across Los Angeles came together to showcase their skills and passion for the game. Structured in a sixes-style format, the tournament offered a dynamic and fast-paced environment for players and spectators alike. Teams battled it out on the field, displaying impressive teamwork, athleticism, and determination throughout the day.

The Compton Girls High School team, proudly representing their community, delivered an outstanding performance, ultimately taking home the crown. Their victory not only symbolized their dedication and hard work but also served as an indication of how the growth of lacrosse is spurred on by our programming in Compton.
