Back in Business- Harlem Lacrosse Corporate Partnerships in Action

There is no doubt that 'Zoom Culture' created opportunities for our students to learn and stay connected during the pandemic, but it could never replace the power of personal relationships and experiential learning.

This past year our career readiness programming was back in business, exposing our students first-hand to corporate settings and inspiring them to envision professional pathways for their future. Working with year-round partners such as HPS Investment Partners, KKR, Schroders, and Mizuho Americas, among others our youth have participated in meaningful skill-building and career mentoring workshops.

In addition, this past summer Harlem Lacrosse had 21 alumni that were hired for highly competitive Wall Street internships at Sixth Street, Schroders, HPS, Cisco and Willis Towers Watson. We are thrilled that several of our college interns have been offered full-time employment upon graduation.

Looking ahead to this spring and summer, Harlem Lacrosse is excited to expand on our career readiness and corporate mentoring offerings. We will be doubling the number of student participants in our internship program and broadening career exploration field trips and internship placements to include the real estate, entertainment, media and technology sectors.
