Family and Friends Day in Harlem Lacrosse - LA

What is lacrosse? That is the classic question coming from parents, sibling, and friends of the children participating in the program. To help answer this questions for as many as possible, we hosted a Family and Friends day that incorporated drills and activities so HLLA players could teach their parents and/or friends how to play lacrosse. Players rallied together to share the knowledge and skills they have gained over their time with the program. The level of competition between kids and family was super high and elevated the laughter and smiles of all ages.

A major theme of Harlem Lacrosse is community. How do we make our program part of the school, part of the community and part of the daily lessons that can help students create paths for themselves? The overwhelming support and energy that was present, represented the past and present efforts that has been put forth to create the programming we call Harlem Lacrosse.
