Harlem Lacrosse - Boston Summer Academy, a 5th Quarter Program

For the second consecutive year, Harlem Lacrosse has been selected as a 5th Quarter Portfolio Partner by Boston Public Schools (BPS) and has received funding to expand access to its summer learning programs. BPS’s 5th Quarter Portfolio, which is supported and partially funded by Boston After School and Beyond (BASB), increases equitable access to quality summer learning opportunities for BPS students. Through a comprehensive and competitive application process, BPS and BASB recognize exceptional summer learning programs as 5th Quarter Portfolio Partners and support the expansion of their programs with Summer Learning Academy grants. Through this partnership, Harlem Lacrosse is able to hire additional teachers to provide learning opportunities and prevent students’ summer learning loss.
