Senior Spotlight - From Olney High to 'Nova Skies
There’s only one way to turn a Trojan into a Wildcat! We are excited to shine a spotlight on one of our graduating seniors, Milly. Milly was one of the first girls to join the high school program once it was established at Olney High School. Milly was a sophomore who had never played a sport but saw something new and exciting in lacrosse and decided to stick with it. Milly has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills for the last three years, serving as a team ‘captain’ and helping to inspire confidence in her peers (the majority of whom have also never played lacrosse). Olney High School Sr. Program Director Coach Siena states, “She has always been a stellar student - but Harlem Lacrosse brought out her confidence and courage in herself to try new things and not give up.” Milly will be a first-generation college student. Not only are we proud of Milly and her many accomplishments, we are also grateful to our National Pathing Team and Villanova University for ensuring that Milly secured the financial support that she needed to attend and excel in college.
