Harlem Lacrosse - Philadelphia Teams Up with the Wings & Wells Fargo Center

This summer HL-P’s partnership with the Wings was taken to the next level. On a career exploration trip, the high school teams visited the Wells Fargo Center with the Wings for a career panel, as well as a facilities tour to see the grounds. Harlem Lacrosse student-athletes learned about career paths in marketing, event planning, operations, and sports management. Wings President Marc Zamarin joined the panel, answering questions from the group about their favorite aspects of their jobs, what to do and not do when you’re younger and hoping to enter the sports industry, etc. Wells Fargo Summer interns led the high school group on a tour of the Wells Fargo Center, visiting locker rooms for the Wings, Flyers, and Sixers. Lunch was made even more exciting by the guest appearance from Gritty. Tiktoks were absolutely made!

The middle school programs from Harlem Lacrosse - Philadelphia also collaborated with the Wings this summer for a box lacrosse clinic at the Wings training facility in Voorhees, NJ. Coaching and training staff (and the Wings mascot) made the clinic an action packed learning experience for our middle school athletes.
