Welcome our New Staff
There are four new faces at Harlem Lacrosse this fall. Get to know our newest Program Directors!

Kelsie was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA where she started playing lacrosse in 9th grade at Redondo Union High School. She attended the University of San Diego, received a BA in Psychology and minored in Communication Studies. While in college she played on the club lacrosse team for three years. After college, she moved back to LA to be a case manager at a mental health clinic and coached lacrosse to beginners. She then moved to South Bend, IN where she worked as a school counselor at an Alternative middle/high school and coached Freshmen lacrosse. Kelsie joined Harlem Lacrosse in 2020 as the new Girls Program Director at Walton Middle School in Compton, CA.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Kier Johnson is a former Baltimore City Lacrosse standout having led the Northwestern High School team to the Baltimore City Championship. After attending ASA Junior College, Kier graduated from Hampton University where he played for the only Men’s Division I HBCU lacrosse program in the country while earning his degree in criminal justice. At ASA Junior College Kier earned NJCAA First Team All Region honors and at Hampton University Kier was the team MVP. Kier has previous coaching experience as a graduate assistant coach at ASA Junior College and Hampton University. Kier was an assistant coach with Harlem Lacrosse-Baltimore through the Up2Us program where he received extensive training in trauma-informed coaching, youth development, and mentoring. Kier joined Harlem Lacrosse in 2020 as the Program Director at Commodore John Rodgers School in East Baltimore.

Brigid grew up in Rochester, NY and graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2013 with a B.S. in Psychology and captained the Women's Lacrosse team. While at St. Lawrence, Brigid earned all-conference and Regional All America honors. After graduation, she went on to play and coach lacrosse in Manchester, England for the English Lacrosse Association. She then completed her M.S. in Organizational Leadership and was the Graduate Assistant for the Mercyhurst University Women's Lacrosse team. In her final season at Mercyhurst, Brigid was the interim Head Women's Lacrosse Coach and led the team to win the PSAC conference for the first time in program history. After graduating from Mercyhurst, Brigid became the High School Program Manager for MetroLacrosse in 2016 and has continued to coach the MetroLacrosse, now Harlem Lacrosse High School Girls team since. She is now the Harlem Lacrosse Boston High School Girls Program Director.

Daniel is a Harlem, NY native. He attended Frederick Douglass Academy where he picked up the sport of Lacrosse with Harlem Lacrosse during 7th grade. He was one of the first players and captain for the Harlem Lacrosse program. He attended Frederick Douglass Academy for middle school and 9th grade, but transferred to Elmont Memorial H.S. in Long Island. He graduated from Onondaga Community College with an Associates in Business Administration. After graduating, he fulfilled his itch for mentoring through coaching AAU Basketball, Youth Soccer, Football training and being a Community Ambassador for NIKE NYC. Daniel joined Harlem Lacrosse in 2020 as the Boys Program Director at P.S. 76 in Harlem.
