“Being able to volunteer at Englewood Hospital is an amazing opportunity because I’ll be able to   experience firsthand what it means to be working in the medical field and figure out for myself whether it is a career path I want to continue to pursue in the future. As of now, my dream career is to become a nurse practitioner, and being in the hospital surrounded by them will prove to be beneficial to my understanding of the tasks they carry out. I think that this internship opportunity is a first milestone in getting familiar with the medical environment and will definitely be helpful in the future.”
