The 2011 Harlem Lacrosse Kids vs. Coaches Extravaganza

On July 16, 2011, HLL gathered its forces at the Chelsea Piers Fieldhouse to hold the 2nd Annual Harlem Lacrosse Kids vs. Coaches Extravaganza. The kids look forward to this event all year; everyone sees it as an opportunity to show off their talents against the “big guys”. The adults had a large and energetic team composed of volunteers, FDA Lacrosse alumni, coaches, and friends of the program. While experience helped them to control most of the game, they proved at times to be no match for the raw intensity that the kids brought to the table.

Though some might contest that day’s score, nearly everyone left Chelsea Piers with some great memories and some hard-earned bruises.

Thanks to all of the families that made it, to the friends and fans of HLL who traveled to take part in the event, and to our wonderful coaching staff for bringing their all. See you all again next year!
