Help Harlem Lacrosse raise money in support of local lacrosse instruction, academic support, and enrichment for students in North Philadelphia.
As the fall season is settling in and Halloween is upon us, we invite you to join us for our 1st Annual Ghoul Ball Challenge!
CHALLENGE WEEK: October 26th - November 1st
Harlem Lacrosse - Philadelphia is on a mission to raise $6000 to ensure that every one of our players has a new pair of cleats to begin the Spring season. However, we need your help!
How It Works
1st: Commit as a team to support the challenge and then identify a captain(s) to rally the players and lead the charge.
Each team commits to raise $500 – that’s only 20 players raising $25 each or 10 players raising $50!
2nd: Each player identifies a $25 sponsor or a variety of sponsors ($1, $5, $50) to contribute once the challenge is complete.
3rd: The week of Oct 26th – Nov 1st, each player records a 1-minute wall ball segment, in a Halloween costume.
Prizes will be awarded to the player in costume who (a) has the most catches in 1 minute and the player who (b) ‘wall balls’ in the most creative way and/or (c) wall balls the longest with no drops.
4th: Each player posts their video on Instagram with the #hlpghoulballchallenge along with the donation link.
Tag us! @harlemlacrosse_philly
5th: Each player follows up to ensure that a donation was made to HL-Philadelphia for the Ghoul Ball Challenge.
6th: OPTIONAL – Come and celebrate with us at our Halloween-themed cookout on Sat, November 1st at Olney HS Fields from 11 am – 1 p.m. We will be in costume, have food and candy along with plenty of lacrosse themed games – we’d love to see you!
Checks can be made payable to Harlem Lacrosse and brought to the event or mailed to the address below. Please write “ 2025 Philadelphia Ghoul Ball Challenge” in the memo section of the check.
