Harlem Lacrosse - Baltimore was thrilled to host our Second Annual Pickleball Benefit, bringing together partners, supporters, and community members for an evening of competition, connection, and celebration of our students.
This year’s event featured two brackets; an Open/Social Play bracket and a Competitive bracket, allowing participants of all levels to get involved and enjoy the event. Before competition began, we had the privilege of hearing from three of our outstanding senior student-athletes: Micah (St. Mary’s College of Maryland), Lamar (Swarthmore College), and Taoheed (Bucknell University).
Each of them shared their Harlem Lacrosse journey,three very different starting points that ultimately led to a similar destination. All three will be first in their families to attend college on full scholarships, a powerful reflection of what long-term mentorship, opportunity, and belief can achieve.
