HL-Philadelphia visits Duke University!!

Still riding high from HL-Philadelphia's awesome trip to Duke University last week!!!

During their Duke visit, Thomas K. Finletter students were able to sit through mock lectures run by doctors, professors, and students from the university and learned about a host of diverse topics including: Gender and Racial Biases’; Autism Spectrum Diagnosis; African American History in Education; Organic Chemistry experiments; and the Law of Conservation of Energy with Duke Environment students.

And let’s not forget meeting with the Duke Women's Lacrosse team and coaches to learn more about being a collegiate student-athlete!

A special thanks to Evan and Rick Vosburgh for organizing and planning our trip. And many thanks to the Duke Women's Lacrosse, the Nicholas School of the Environment @ Duke, and to all our speakers for taking time out of their day to share their knowledge and encouraging our student-athletes to change the world! #gobluedevils
