FDA HS Boys visit Richmond, VA!

#MondayMotivation

Last month, The FDA HS Boys ad a fantastic overnight trip to Richmond, VA!

The weekend started when HLers hopped off the bus and met their Collegiate School (VA) host families for the weekend!

After settling in Friday night, the FDA boys were in for a full day starting with a scrimmage against the Highland Springs High School varsity lacrosse team! Coach Dom Starsia was able to speak with both teams before the game, highlighting the opportunity before them and their role as trailblazers in the game of lacrosse.

After the game, HLers visited the University of Richmond, where they were able to tour campus, and watch a competitive Division 1 lacrosse game between the Richmond Mens Lacrosse Team and Bellarmine University!

On Saturday evening, the FDA boys returned to the fields and scrimmaged the Collegiate School varsity lacrosse team, followed by a Collegiate/Harlem Lacrosse dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings!

On Sunday morning, the team said goodbyes to Collegiate families and hit the road, stopping at Randolph-Macon College, just north of Richmond on the way out of town! FDAers were able to tour around the academic buildings, athletic facilities, and learn more background on college- student life!

A HUGE thanks to Collegiate HC Andrew Stanley and Rob Cabaniss for making this entire trip possible! We're looking forward to returning soon!
