Loyola's Annual Fall Playday

The middle school boys of Harlem Lacrosse - Baltimore have long partnered with Loyola Men’s Lacrosse. This year is no different, and we are excited to fold our newest program from ACCE Middle School into the mix! Coach Toomey, an advisory board member, and Coach Van Arsdale, parent of two former Harlem Lacrosse staff, planned a fun, interactive event with all three middle school teams during their annual fall play day with Fairfield, High Point and Villanova.

All participating college teams made donations to the middle school programs of Harlem Lacrosse - Baltimore in addition to equipment and team swag. But when asked about their favorite part of the day, Harlem Lacrosse players unanimously agreed that meeting the college players and getting to stand with them on the sideline won the day.

Experiencing the excitement of a college game and the teamwork required to play at such a high level exemplified what the boys have been practicing in their own fall seasons - riding hard to the restraining line, finding the extra pass and celebrating every success.

ACCE, Commodore and James McHenry players cannot wait for their next opportunity to chop it up with Loyola. Until then, they plan to work hard in their respective programs, just like their college role models!
